Pay: $38 hourly

We specialize in roof replacements, repairs, preventative maintenance, emergency leak response, and service for commercial, industrial, healthcare, retail, educational, and institutional facilities.
As our company continues to grow, we are seeking Experienced Commercial Roofers who take pride in quality workmanship, work safely, and are looking to build a long-term career with an established commercial roofing contractor.
Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
Compensation is determined based on experience, knowledge, certifications, and skill level. Overtime opportunities may also be available.
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Foreman or Superintendent, Commercial Roofers are responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of a variety of commercial roofing systems while maintaining Nu-Tek Roof Systems' high standards for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial roofing systems.
- Work with roofing materials including:
- TPO
- EPDM
- PVC
- Modified Bitumen
- Built-Up Roofing (BUR)
- Roof Coating Systems
- Metal Roofing Systems
- Remove and replace existing roofing materials.
- Assist with roof tear-offs and new roof installations.
- Perform flashing, sealing, detail work, and waterproofing.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment.
- Maintain clean and organized jobsites.
- Follow OSHA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company safety procedures.
- Work effectively with crew members, foremen, and project managers.
- Represent Nu-Tek Roof Systems professionally on every jobsite.
Qualifications
- Commercial roofing experience preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic.
- Experience with TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, BUR, coatings, or metal roofing is a plus.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
- Ability to climb ladders and work safely at heights.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification is a plus.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
Working Conditions
- Outdoor commercial construction environment.
- Regular exposure to heights, heat, cold, wind, and changing weather conditions.
- Frequent climbing, lifting, carrying, kneeling, bending, and walking on commercial roofing systems.
- Local and regional travel depending on project location.
