Overview
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background, along with experience in facilities maintenance.
Duties
- Assist residents with minor repairs
- Receive and respond to building maintenance calls
- Troubleshoot and repair lighting fixtures, mechanical systems, plumbing and electrical issues
- Ability to solder and sweat copper pipes/fitting
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment
- Work with power ranging from low to medium voltages
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, motor controls, and lighting systems
- Conduct maintenance and chemical balancing on pool
- Read and understand blueprints
- Maintain a property wide clean and safe work area
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in at least one of the following related trades: electrical, mechanical, plumbing and refrigeration.
- At least two years of experience in a similar environment
- Experience working with industrial hand tools, power tools, testing and monitoring equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Knowledge of basic computer skills
- Ability to speak, read & write in English
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
