Position Summary
We are hiring a Construction Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial operations for multiple active construction projects. This role is fully on-site in our Orlando office and reports directly to the CEO. The ideal candidate has strong construction accounting experience, including job costing, subcontractor payments, and construction draw processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable by job and cost code
- Process vendor and subcontractor invoices
- Support payroll processing and job costing allocation
- Prepare construction draw packages for lenders
- Track job costs and project budgets
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements
- Maintain organized financial and project documentation
- Collect and manage lien waivers
- Assist with month-end close and reporting
- Communicate with CEO, project managers, vendors, and lenders
Requirements
- 2+ years bookkeeping experience (construction experience required)
- QuickBooks proficiency required
- Experience with AP/AR and payroll support
- Knowledge of construction draw processes and job costing
- Strong Excel and organizational skills
- Ability to work on-site full-time (Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm)
Preferred
- Buildertrend experience
- Spanish/English bilingual
- Residential construction or real estate development experience
Compensation & Benefits
- $22–$26/hour (based on experience)
- W2 full-time position
- PTO + paid holidays
