Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Follow established recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards to deliver exceptional meals
- Assist with food prep tasks such as slicing, dicing, and assembling ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety management practices
- Adhere to safety standards in production, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Support menu planning efforts by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and uphold high standards of food service and catering
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience, particularly in a kitchen environment is a must
- Demonstrated culinary experience with skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly
- Knowledge of safety standards in food production and food handling practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality
