Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary
Summary:
Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) provides evaluation and treatment of patients with disabilities, injuries and/or diseases using physical, chemical and mechanical means in accordance with the written and signed prescription and/or referral of a state licensed physician.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Education Required
- Must complete in-house orientation program
- Graduate of an accredited university with a BS, MA, or MS or higher degree in Occupational Therapy that is recognized by the AOTA.
- Recognized by the NBCOT as designated OTR (if state mandated).
Experience And Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Speaks, reads and writes English
- Minimum of one year experience, three years preferred
License/Certifications
- New York State License, Occupational Therapist or eligible for the same.
