The average person spends 90% of their life indoors. We think that matters.
We build high performance custom and spec homes in Asheville because we believe the homes people live in shape both their lives and the planet they live on. That means lower energy costs and healthier air, with a smaller footprint from the materials we choose to the systems we install. We build tight, insulate well, and design for durability so these homes use less energy for decades to come, not just on day one. Built to last. Designed with care. Built for the long run.
We are also trying to advance how homes get built. We have a feedback loop between our designers, builders, and cost evaluators that most construction companies do not have and do not care about. Every project teaches us something. We bring that back into the next one.
We are looking for a Project Manager who wants to be part of that mission — not just someone who wants to run jobs.
This role has real autonomy and real accountability. You will manage projects from contract to close, run client relationships, hold subs to a high standard, and track costs with a sharp eye. We iterate constantly on what high performance improvements are actually worth — so cost consciousness is not a rule here, it is a value.
Our client experience standard is high. We have the Google reviews to prove it and we intend to keep it that way. The right PM builds genuine trust through precision and follow-through, not just personality.
At the same time the core of this job is running excellent projects. Clients cared for, subs performing, costs tracked, deadlines hit. If you take deep pride in that — and want to earn more when you do it well — this role rewards exactly that.
Residential construction experience is required. High performance or green building experience is a plus but curiosity about it is enough.
