InSync Consulting is seeking a reliable and hardworking Steward Service Worker to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment by washing dishes, collecting patient meal trays, cleaning assigned areas, and supporting daily kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Collect patient meal trays and carts from hospital floors
- Clean and disinfect dining and work areas according to department standards
- Properly handle cleaning chemicals and dispose of waste materials
- Operate and maintain commercial dishwashing equipment
- Follow all safety, sanitation, OSHA, and Joint Commission guidelines
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous dishwashing, housekeeping, janitorial, or food service experience preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift, push, and pull equipment as needed
- Food Handler Permit or ServSafe Certification required by the first day of employment (preferred before start date)
