Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for patients.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment following sterile technique.
- Take and develop X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Record medical information, vital signs, and maintain accurate medical documentation.
- Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures.
- Educate patients on post-operative care instructions.
- Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe clinical environment.
- Take 3D's for imaging as required for specific procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental clinic setting.
- Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control practices.
- Manage medical records, and understand HIPAA regulations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- Ability to take X-rays safely and effectively.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
