Position Details
Educational Requirements: Preferred: 1-5 years experience in IONM. Required: BS degree in the life sciences.
Environment: Work consistently with a small group of surgeons, resulting in great chemistry and trust. Must be willing to engage in ongoing clinical training.
Call Requirements: Rotating weekend call schedule (approximately once every 4 weekends).
Travel: Most work will be in the Pittsfield, MA area. Occasional travel to other areas in Central NY will be required.
Scheduling: 2-3 days per week.
Case Breakdown: 80% spine, 20% craniotomies, ENT, and vascular procedures.
Location: The Berkshires of MA and Southern Tier of NY
Compensation: Varies depending on experience. Benefits package includes company-sponsored health insurance (company pays 50% of premium for employee)and 401K matching plan.
Physical Requirements
- Must have 24/7/365 access to a car and be willing to travel to any facility at any time
- Possible exposure to hazardous materials with communicable diseases with minimal chance of harm if proper precautions are followed
- Ability to travel to multiple sites for work as required
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to kneel, crawl and bend for brief periods
