Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a memorable dining experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, processing transactions accurately while providing excellent customer service.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and assist with drink selections, enhancing their overall experience.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Stay informed about new drink trends, menu changes, and promotions to effectively upsell beverages.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Basic math skills are essential for handling cash transactions and managing tabs.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques is a plus for crafting specialty drinks.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills are critical for creating positive interactions with guests in a fine dining setting.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality service.
