Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations.
- Provide annual follow-up visits and ongoing management of sleep disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians on complex cases and treatment decisions.
- Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and healthy sleep practices.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with applicable healthcare regulations.
- Stay current with evidence-based practices and advances in sleep medicine.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program or equivalent education.
- Current certification and appropriate licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant/Physician Associate.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary clinical team.
- Strong clinical reasoning and analytical skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with medical advancements.
- Interest or experience in sleep medicine is welcomed.
