This role is responsible for inspecting incoming raw materials, components, and packaging materials, verifying supplier documentation (COAs/COCs), and ensuring compliance with cGMP and internal quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming raw materials, components, and packaging materials
- Review COAs, COCs, and supplier documentation
- Perform visual and physical inspections
- Ensure proper material quarantine, sampling, and release
- Identify and document nonconforming materials
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with GDP
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 70 lbs.
- Basic computer skills (Word, Excel)
We are ideally looking for candidates with:
- 2–5 years of QA inspection experience in cosmetics, OTC, pharmaceutical, or similar regulated industries
- Strong understanding of cGMP and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Experience with incoming inspection, material release, and supplier quality activities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Must be able to lift 50-70lbs consistently throughout the day
