We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Hotel Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This is a full-time position for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of providing guests with a clean, comfortable, and welcoming room.
As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms according to hotel standards. You will work independently throughout your shift while also working as part of the housekeeping team to make sure rooms are completed properly and on time.
Responsibilities include:
- Clean and prepare guest rooms for arriving guests
- Make beds and replace sheets, pillowcases, and other linens
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, mirrors, and floors
- Vacuum carpets and sweep and mop hard-surface floors
- Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, countertops, and other surfaces
- Remove trash and properly dispose of waste
- Replace used towels and linens
- Restock toiletries and other guest-room supplies
- Check rooms carefully to ensure they are clean and ready for guests
- Report maintenance problems, damaged items, or unusual room conditions to management
- Turn in any lost-and-found items according to hotel procedures
- Keep housekeeping carts, supplies, and work areas clean and organized
- Assist with cleaning hallways and common areas when necessary
- Follow hotel cleanliness, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Complete assigned rooms efficiently while maintaining quality standards
We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision. Candidates should have strong attention to detail and be able to maintain a consistent level of cleanliness throughout their shift.
This position requires regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing a housekeeping cart, and lifting or carrying housekeeping supplies and linens. Previous hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience is helpful, but we are willing to consider dependable candidates who are willing to learn.
Weekend availability is required, as hotels operate seven days a week. Applicants must have reliable transportation and be able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
