Speech Therapist
We are hiring full-time and part-time Speech Therapists to join our dynamic care team at Plymouth Rehabilitation & Health Care Center! Up to $55 an hour with weekly pay.

Responsibilities:
Provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment, and consultation to a general rehab caseload
Participate in the clinical team process and provide teaching and training to caregiver staff
Supervise other assistants, aides, and students as required
Demonstrate knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations
Communicate effectively with patients, residents, team members, customers, and supervisor
Participate in clinical program development and implementation
Participate in the training and orientation of other staff
Demonstrate ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Speech Therapy
Current licensure by the applicable state agency
Two (2) years of clinical experience in long-term care preferred
CEU's per state licensure requirements

Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Standing and walking for significant amounts of time are necessary
Excellent hearing and verbal skills required for directing staff, customer relations, and marketing activities
Manual dexterity required for documentation needs, manipulations of equipment, and for direct patient care
Requires intense attention and concentration
Ability to cope with periodic stress associated with changing census and staffing demands
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage time effectively for self and others
Ability to deal with a wide range of personality types, ages, and diverse cultural backgrounds
Ability to articulate and comprehend the English language
