Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Foundry Lead to oversee and manage our metal casting operations. This position will develop schedules and expedite products through the foundry to provide customers with quality products and on time delivery.
Duties
- Supervise daily foundry operations, including metal casting, machining, and finishing processes.
- Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately to guide fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Train team members on machine operation, safety procedures, measurement techniques, and fabrication processes.
- Monitor shipping schedule and prioritize to ensure on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering teams for continuous process improvements and innovation in metal fabrication requirements
- Review equipment needs for maintenance requirements and desired process improvements.
- Proficiency in interpreting mechanical blueprints using GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards.
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
