Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements.
- Use hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines to cut, shape, and assemble building materials.
- Perform framing, drywall installation, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, siding, and roofing tasks with precision.
- Follow safety protocols related to power tool safety, electrical work, plumbing, metal stud framing, and construction site procedures.
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Experience in residential carpentry including flooring installation, tile laying, fixture installation, and remodeling projects.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper technique; familiarity with scaffolding and ladder safety.
- Skilled in construction site experience including schematics reading, schematic interpretation, and adherence to safety standards.
- Knowledge of construction materials such as wood construction materials, siding materials, drywall compounds like plaster or stucco.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
