We are seeking professional, community-minded Residential Patrol Security Officers to safeguard premier gated communities. In this role, you will serve as the primary visible deterrent to crime, enforce community rules, and provide exceptional customer service to the residents and their guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Mobile & Foot Patrols: Conduct scheduled and random vehicular, golf cart, or foot patrols across neighborhood streets, parks, and common amenity areas.
- Access Control Management: Man the community guardhouse, verify visitor and contractor credentials against resident guest lists, and manage electronic gate logs.
- Bylaw & Parking Enforcement: Monitor and document community rule violations, including unauthorized parking, excessive noise complaints, and improper use of amenities.
- Safety Inspections: Check perimeter fencing, pool gates, and community centers nightly to ensure all facilities are locked and secure.
- Resident Support: Respond promptly to resident requests for welfare checks, parking assistance, nighttime escorts, and lockout support.
- Emergency Coordination: Act as the first responder to community incidents (e.g., property damage, medical emergencies, alarms) and assist local police or fire departments with neighborhood access and scene control.
- Detailed Reporting: Maintain an accurate digital shift log and submit detailed incident reports with photo documentation when necessary.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in residential security, gatehouse operations, or luxury hospitality/customer service.
- Licensing: Must possess a valid State Security D License / Guard Card, and a clean, valid Driver’s License.
- Skills: Outstanding verbal communication, customer service, and conflict de-escalation abilities.
- Technology: Proficient with smartphone applications, digital guard logs, and gate management software.
- Physical Demands: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and walk long distances in various weather conditions.
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
