We have openings for Banquet Servers who are interested in working flexible part-time hours for the busy spring, summer, and fall seasons.
This is an exciting position to work for a premier golf club in Potomac Falls where you will receive a flexible work schedule, complimentary uniforms, parking and employee meals provided.

Job responsibilities
- Provide consistent and company customer service standards
- Assists with set up & break down of events, décor/specific set up needs, busing and clearing of tables during buffet-style events and service of plated meals, and refilling/retrieving of beverages.
- Maintain a neat, clean and orderly workstation at all times.
- Carrying plates of food and trays and serving guests
- Attend meetings before the event to go over the details for the events
- Maintain a neat, clean and professional appearance at all times, including name tags and uniforms.
- Use Members’ and guests’ names on a consistent basis and provide them with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
- Promptly remove dishes as guests complete each course and/or meal at the end of the meal or event.
- Replenish beverages as necessary, and check with guests for overall satisfaction.
- Handle Member and guest routine comments in a professional manner according to Club policies and refer any issues or concerns to management.
- Complete opening and closing side duties as assigned. Once event is complete, reset area back according to the Supervisor’s specifications to ensure the readiness of the room for the following event.
- Anticipate the needs of Members and guests and provide a proactive service style.
- Maintain a neat and orderly account of all food and beverage sales.
- Work as a contributing player to the team, with an open mind and positive attitude.
- Any other tasks assigned by a manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
· In this position please bring your energy and enthusiasm along with your excellent customer service attitude to our members.
· This position will anticipate the member and guest needs and provide a memorable experience.
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment and a team environment.
· Available to work varied shifts to include weekends, evenings and holidays.
· Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
· Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 pounds and be able to stoop and bend.
· Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
· Effective verbal and written communication skills to customers, members, coworkers and supervisors.
· Ability to be a team player from kitchen to dining room
