Assistant Clinical Supervisor – General Practice
Emergency/ICU Veterinary Technician-
$24–$36/hour

Overnight differential: +$5/hour for hours worked between 11:00pm–6:00am
General Practice Veterinary Technician
Ward Veterinary Technician
Surgery Veterinary Technician-
$24–$34+/hour

$1,000 sign-on bonus

$3,000 sign-on bonus for VTS candidates
Schedule
Assistant Clinical Supervisor – General Practice-
36–40 hours weekly, Day shifts

Includes up to 3 holidays annually
Emergency/ICU Veterinary Technician-
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

5:00pm–2:00am
General Practice Veterinary Technician-
Four 9-hour shifts weekly

Scheduled between 7:00am–9:00pm
Ward Veterinary Technician-
Monday–Friday

10:00am–6:00pm

No weekends
Surgery Veterinary Technician-
Four 9–10 hour shifts per week

About the Role / Responsibilities
Veterinary Technicians at Bulger Veterinary Hospital work alongside specialists, emergency clinicians, and experienced support teams to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Responsibilities may include:

Provide compassionate nursing care and patient monitoring

Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, sample collection, and laboratory diagnostics
-
Monitor anesthesia and sedation during procedures
-
Assist veterinarians with diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
-
Support surgical and emergency cases with technical expertise
-
Maintain accurate medical records
-
Communicate clearly with clients and hospital team members
-
Collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Technicians have the opportunity to work with advanced equipment and specialty services including:

Full video scoping suite

Minimally invasive surgery

Ophthalmic laser and surgical equipment

Transfusion medicine

Qualifications-
2+ years of veterinary technician experience preferred

Experience in anesthesia monitoring strongly preferred

CVT / LVT / RVT preferred but not required
-
VTS candidates encouraged to apply

Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative hospital environment

Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
