Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Weekend Night Auditor to join our hospitality team in a part-time capacity. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving during the overnight shift, ensuring smooth operations, accurate financial reporting, and outstanding customer service. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures during the overnight hours, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Manage front desk operations, including handling guest inquiries, reservations, and special requests with professionalism and warmth.
- Conduct nightly audits of billing, reservations, and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor security cameras and perform routine safety checks of the property to maintain a secure environment.
- Respond promptly to guest concerns or issues, providing effective solutions and escalating as necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of activities, incidents, and shift reports to ensure smooth handovers between shifts.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to assist callers efficiently and courteously.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations, with a strong focus on guest services.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to better serve diverse guests.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and night audit procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Exceptional customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality excellence.
- Strong front desk skills including handling reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and managing multi-line phone systems professionally.
- Previous hotel or resort experience is preferred to quickly adapt to the role’s demands.
