We are looking for a legal assistant to enhance the quality of client management and maximize satisfaction. Legal assistant work with our case managers on all aspects of personal injury case handling, from opening claims, preparing documents, telephone calls, general/clerical office tasks and related matters. Prior personal injury experience is required.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting case managers with personal injury case load
- Requesting medical bills and records
- Communicating with clients, medical offices, adjusters and opposing counsel
- Opening insurance claims
- Sending letter of representation
- Assisting team with clerical and general office tasks
- Requesting and collecting medical office bills and records
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of prior pre-litigation law firm experience
- Prior personal injury law experience preferred
- Effective communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Applicants must be fluent in Spanish
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
