Lundahl Custom Welding is a growing company with great opportunities for career growth and development. Our shop is located in Portage, UT, just off the interstate.
We are looking for motivated laborers with an interest in the steel industry. This position includes but is not limited to: Helping welders, grinding, polishing, cleaning and organizing the shop, running a forklift, taking inventory, heavy lifting, cutting and fitting parts, drilling holes, painting, and sandblasting. There is opportunity to learn more about welding by assisting and watching our welders.
Location: Portage, Utah
Pay: $18-$23 per hour depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, weekends as needed. Overtime if we exceed 40 hrs/week.
Job Requirements:
Must have a strong understanding of safety protocols.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to walk, squat, kneel, and stand for long periods of time
Preferred Experience:
Blueprint reading
