Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant with Coronal Polishing or RDA to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring patient comfort and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality care. Schedule is Monday thru Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to safety protocols and HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation, including patient histories and treatment plans.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Greeting patients on their arrival, Answering phone calls, Taking Payment and Scheduling their next appointment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in dental terminology, medical documentation, and medical coding is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Open Dental is an asset.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients on treatment plans and oral health practices.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
