Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class B Licensed Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of safe driving, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle various driving tasks efficiently. As a Class B driver, you will operate vehicles such as box trucks, delivery vans, and other equipment as required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class B vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
Requirements:
- Valid Class B commercial driver’s license (CDL) in the state of California.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving Class B vehicles (preferred).
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
