This is a seasonal position with potential to transition into a role in our main kitchen. Employment is contingent upon a successful background check.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain the kitchen with necessary tools, equipment, and supplies
- Prepare and present food in an appealing and timely manner
- Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist with daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or management
Qualifications:
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred
- ServSafe or Food Handler’s certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm and perform well under pressure
- Capable of meeting physical demands, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs
