POSITION SUMMARY
Work directly with iCare participants during day programming, community outings, and social events. Lead and support activities, provide active supervision and basic care, assist with transportation, and help maintain safe, welcoming program environments.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
PARTICIPANT SUPPORT
Provide active supervision, encouragement, and redirection.
Support basic participant care according to training and needs.
Promote dignity, independence, inclusion, and participant choice.
Monitor safety and promptly report concerns or incidents.
ACTIVITY LEADERSHIP
Lead and assist with recreational, educational, life-skills, wellness, and social activities.
Prepare materials and help activities run smoothly.
Encourage participation, social connection, and skill building.
Assist with meals, transitions, outings, and special events.
TRANSPORTATION & SAFETY
Safely transport participants in iCare vehicles, including a 15-passenger van, after training and authorization.
Complete head counts and support safe loading and unloading.
Follow all safety, confidentiality, and program procedures.
PROGRAM & TEAM SUPPORT
Set up, clean, organize, and break down activities and events.
Maintain respectful communication with participants, families, staff, volunteers, and community partners.
Support documentation, supplies, and assigned program tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience with individuals with autism or I/DD preferred.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Able and willing to safely drive a 15-passenger van.
Dependable, patient, attentive, and safety-minded.
Strong communication, teamwork, and organization skills.
Able to complete required screenings and trainings.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
Stand, walk, bend, reach, and remain active.
Work outdoors in sun, heat, humidity, and changing weather during activities and outings.
TRAINING PROVIDED
iCare provides required orientation and position-specific training, including driver preparation.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
