Hudson Valley Regional Community Health Centers (HVRCHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center, a comprehensive primary health care practice dedicated to building a healthy community and improving the individual health, well-being and quality of life of each person served. Services include primary care medical services, mental health services including psychiatric services, dental services, rehabilitation and specialty services with sites in Poughkeepsie, NY and Brewster, NY.
Hudson Valley Regional Community Health Centers is currently hiring a part-time (ideally 2 days per week) experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) at our busy diagnostic Brewster, NY location.
- Performing psychiatric evaluations and medical monitoring;
- Treating acute, episodic or chronic illnesses;
- Developing and administering high- quality medical care as part of a continuous team effort to afford the most comprehensive evaluation and therapeutic plan for each patient;
- Prescribing all necessary medications and treatment;
- Conducting medication management follow up;
- Adhering to state regulations and applicable codes of conduct;
- Participating in case reviews, treatment planning, monitoring, goal setting and outcomes;
- Performing complete and thorough electronic medical record documentation
- Providing guidance and support to colleagues
Job requirements:
- Significant previous experience working in an outpatient setting
- NYS PNP License and registration
- Current DEA registration
- BLS Certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with EMR systems
- Ability to work independently
- Compassion for patients and passion for working with vulnerable patient populations
Pay range $140,000 to $199,000 annual (part-time will be prorated). We offer a flexible work schedule with no weekends and minimal out of hours calls.
