Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs
- Provide knowledgeable guidance on merchandise, including features and benefits
- Process transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and cash management procedures
- Maintain an organized sales floor by restocking shelves and ensuring product displays are appealing
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, resolving issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Utilize retail math skills to calculate discounts, totals, and change efficiently
- Perform 10 key typing tasks swiftly to ensure accurate data entry during transactions
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
- Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and retail math calculations
- Familiarity with financial software or point-of-sale (POS) systems is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with diverse customers
- Ability to perform basic loan processing tasks or learn quickly on the job if necessary
- Attention to detail for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- A proactive mindset with a desire to learn about banking or financial services is a plus
