We are seeking an energetic Marine Dealer Sales Associate to join our team! In this role, you will be the friendly face guiding customers through their boating journey, from product demonstrations to closing sales. Your enthusiasm for boats and customer service will drive business growth and help create memorable experiences for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales skills in a dynamic, small-team setting.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their boating needs and recommend suitable products and services
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features of boats, trailers, and accessories
- Generate leads through follow-up calls
- Manage customer accounts using CRM software
- Develop new business opportunities by building relationships with local boaters, marinas, and other industry contacts
- Assist in upselling complementary products and services to maximize sales potential
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the entire sales process, from inquiry to post-sale follow-up
- Writing up work orders and completing files in CRM software
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or retail sales with a focus on technical or product-based selling
- Familiarity with computer applications such as Word, Excel, web browsers
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to conduct product demos confidently and effectively explain technical details
- A passion for boating or marine products is highly preferred

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
