Duties
- Develop and enhance web applications using JavaScript frameworks such as React and Express, ensuring responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate smooth communication between front-end and back-end services.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to plan, develop, test, and deploy software solutions efficiently using CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like GitHub, Git, SVN.
- Architect scalable microservices architectures on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Write clean, efficient code in multiple programming languages including Java, C#, Python, C++, and C, adhering to best practices in software engineering and design patterns.
- Conduct system design for complex system development projects focusing on scalability, security (RBAC), and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews, testing procedures, and documentation efforts to uphold quality standards across all development activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in software development with a strong foundation in web development, application development, and system design.
- Hands-on knowledge of IT infrastructure components including Linux servers, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and network protocols like REST.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, C#, C++, C, VBA,.NET frameworks, along with front-end development experience using React or similar frameworks.
- Experience working within Agile software development methodologies to deliver iterative improvements rapidly.
- Proficiency with version control tools including GitHub, Git, SVN; experience with CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable.
- Understanding of database management systems like MySQL and SQL; ability to develop efficient queries for scalable systems.
- Knowledge of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), RESTful services, microservices architecture, design patterns for system development, and scalability considerations.
- Familiarity with RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) security models for managing user permissions effectively.
- Additional skills such as quantum engineering or experience with other programming languages like JavaScript frameworks or front-end technologies are considered a plus.
