Ontario Company is seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive Sales Support Associate to join our team in Ontario, California. The Sales Support Associate will oversee all aspects of their assigned territory
The key job responsibilities of the Sales Support Associate, both Domestic
and International, are to support Sales Management and the various Rep
Groups and Dealers that represent the Forbes line, along with any
combination of additional duties, some of which are as follows:
- Responsible for a specific territory and the Reps / distributors and
customers within that territory
1. Handle all incoming calls and inquires (email & website) for
assigned territory
2. Forward leads to reps and regionals
- Supply Reps / distributors / customers with written quotations as
requested
- Retrieve and process all sales orders within assigned area.
1. Includes, but is not limited to the entry of standard and custom
orders, accuracy review of orders, filing of new orders, the
follow up on any outstanding questions / pricing matters,
retrieving orders off customer portals, maintenance and
acknowledgment, up to, but not including the point of
invoicing.
2. Update customer portals, email or mail final invoices once
completed.
3. Review and approve all freight invoices within assigned area,
excluding trade shows or orders submitted by the marketing
department.
4. Cash in Advance Customer set-up, Proforma Invoicing,
payment follow-up, Cash in Advance Log Maintenance, and
order processing.
- Research and process return requests (RMA’s)
- Research and process freight claims
- Research and respond to Quality / Warranty issues
- Provide assistance to Reps / distributors / customers with design and
development of custom products and pricing
- Work closely with Management and the engineering department in the
development and costing of custom products
- Work closely with the Marketing and Engineering Departments in the
processing of drawing requests for custom items quoted and / or
ordered
- Responsible for providing all necessary paperwork to engineering
required for stock code creation, drawings, and CDS forms needed for
the processing of standard and custom orders.
- Maintains updated and accurate information in ACT and QuoteWerks
for all Quotes and Leads provided.
- Special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
40/+ hours / week
Some related experience, knowledge of Forbes product line a plus
Strong oral and written communication
Ability to interface with a team or work independently
Good organization and analytical abilities
Entry – Intermediate Excel skills
Able to prioritize, work on tight timeframes and manage multiple
tasks/projects
MS Office programs – Word, PPT
General computer skills with a good understanding of windows
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
