Our dealership is a leading automotive dealership representing committed to providing exceptional service and a top-tier customer experience. We're currently seeking a motivated and experienced Service Manager to lead our dynamic service department.
Position Summary:
The Service Manager oversees all aspects of the dealership’s service department, ensuring operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability. This is a leadership role that requires strong managerial, organizational, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, and staff performance.
- Hire, train, and supervise service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through effective communication and service quality.
- Monitor shop productivity, technician efficiency, and overall department performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue, efficiency, and customer loyalty.
- Maintain compliance with manufacturer guidelines, safety regulations, and dealership policies.
- Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve service-related issues promptly.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a service management or leadership role at an automotive dealership.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures.
- Proven leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with DMS software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds) preferred.
- ASE Certification and manufacturer-specific certifications are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
