iCAMP Summer Camp Instructor
Locations: Bridgehampton, New Canaan, Rye, Scarsdale, Mt. Kisco, NYC, Millburn
iCAMP is hiring enthusiastic educators, tutors, and mentors who enjoy working with children and bringing STEM learning to life. Our summer program blends technology, engineering, science, and creativity into hands-on workshops designed to keep campers engaged, curious, and confident.

About the Role
Instructors lead daily STEAM workshops for elementary aged campers. Campers rotate through small group sessions where they explore topics such as robotics, engineering challenges, coding concepts, and science experiments.
You will guide activities using our provided curriculum while adding your own energy and teaching style. This is a teaching and mentoring role that combines classroom instruction with camp spirit.
Schedule
Camp Dates: June 8 to August 28, 2026\*Hours: Approximately 8:00 AM to 3:30 PMFlexible weekly commitment available. You must provide your full availability at time of hiring.

Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Workshops
- Lead hands on STEAM activities using provided curriculum
- Explain concepts in an age appropriate and engaging way
- Support multiple age groups in small rotating classes (about 5 to 15 campers)
- Encourage creativity, teamwork, and problem solving
Camper Supervision
- Maintain a safe and positive environment
- Supervise transitions, outdoor play, and group activities
- Use positive behavior management strategies
- Lead games and participate in camp community activities
Preparation
- Prepare materials before workshops
- Keep classroom organized and ready for the next group
- Communicate with camp leadership about camper needs
Qualifications
We are looking for people who are great with kids first. Technical experience is helpful but not required.
- Ideal candidates:
- Experience working with children in camps, schools, tutoring, or childcare
- Energetic, reliable, and patient
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable leading small groups
- Able to adapt and think on your feet
Teaching, education, STEM, or camp experience is preferred but not required.
