Job Duties:
- Mix and fill molds with a variety of plasters using techniques developed specifically for Hydrobat Production and similar products.
- De-mold and finish castings on wheel if need be.
- Measures and mixes plaster with best practices in mind. Use all safety precautions.
- Inspects and tests parts or products for defects and to verify accuracy and adherence to standards
- Operates finishing equipment such as power tools, as part of post production

- Works closely with buyer to keep materials and tools in stock
- Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on projects
- Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the strict guidelines of the company
- Follow all company safety protocol
- Inspect the work area and machines that were used during the day prior to leaving at the end of each shift
- Assist in the fabrication lab with additional machinable raw materials; ie plastic, wood, plaster, ceramic
- Work with teammates as we grow the production team
Skills and Qualifications:
Able to take direction and learn how to work with plaster, molds, wood, plastics, and clay. Team player, Fast worker, Independent, Product Knowledge, good communication, Listening, Analyzing Information , Organized, Multi-tasking, good with hand eye coordination, may be working with machinery, such as pug mills, cnc machines, computers, kilns, presses, wet saws and like machines, and or power hand tools.
Physical Demands:
This position involves moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, sitting and standing for at least two consecutive hours at a time. Must be able to lift 50 lb clay boxes everyday. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching and climbing ladders, and handle dry material with proper precautions / Enthusiastic, friendly and energetic/ Available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and on special events ie; Blowout Sales. / High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred, ceramics background with clay experience ideal.*
