How you'll contribute

Must demonstrate an understanding of Patient Positioning, Radiopharmaceutical dosing, Radiation Safety, Imaging Equipment, Infection Control and Quality Control techniques.

Presents a pleasant and helpful manner to patients, physicians, subordinates, and other members of the department staff.

Assists in maintaining a work area free from hazards.

The student radiologic technologist must perform routine diagnostic imaging studies, as needed.

Ensures that patient examinations are performed in an accurate and timely manner based on dosing and test design.

Provides accurate patient positioning, computer entries, and filming.

Maintains an effective use of time, reports availability accordingly
What we’re looking for

Education: High School Degree. Must be working on completion of a Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma or Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology-Nuclear Medicine (verification from school is required).

Certification: BLS required
