Duties
- Manage daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation to maximize productivity.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of skilled technicians, ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety compliance.
- Oversee vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance tasks such as brake repair, suspension work, engine diagnostics, and assembly.
- Ensure all service work meets quality standards by conducting inspections and verifying proper procedures are followed.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers by providing transparent communication about repairs, estimates, and timelines.
- Utilize automotive diagnostics tools and power tools to troubleshoot issues efficiently and accurately.
- Coordinate with parts departments to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs and service jobs.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience in powersports or automotive service management.
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and mechanical principles related to powersports vehicles.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques, and automotive repair equipment.
- Customer service experience with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Experience with sales or upselling services is a plus but not required.
