Houston RN is seeking passionate and focus driven Physical Therapy Assistants in the Greater Houston area including Humble, South East Houston, Pasadena/League City Pearland and heights/downtown area to treat patients in the home health setting. We are a family of qualified health care practitioners who provide professional comprehensive treatment for the homebound patients we service. If you are new to home health or a seasoned clinician we are interested in working with you.
Contractor shall provide and maintain at all times a valid professional license or certificate, adequate professional liability insurance, a valid Texas Drivers License, adequate vehicle insurance, up-to-date CPR certification, a valid United States Social Security number, and a current negative TB test. Contractor’s professional duties and responsibilities are defined by Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners and assignment descriptions. Contractor shall perform these duties and responsibilities in accordance with the currently approved methods and practice of his/her profession. Which include but are not limited to;
Adheres to established policies and procedures.
- Provides physician prescribed physical therapy.
- Improves or minimizes residual physical disabilities of the patient.
- Returns the individual to optimum and productive level within the patient’s capabilities.
- Participates with health care personnel in patient care planning.
- Supervised by licensed Physical Therapists
- Consults with Physical Therapist and physician regarding change in treatment.
- Writes reports to physicians regarding patient's progress.
- Instructs patients and family/significant others in home training programs.
- Participates in in-service programs
- Participates in care conferences as scheduled.
- Prepares clinical and progress notes.
- Helps develop the plan of care and revise it as necessary.

Pay: $55.00 per hour
