Part-Time Delivery and Pickup Driver – Heavy Packages
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable part-time driver to deliver and pick up approximately 40 heavy packages per shift. Some packages will weigh more than 100 pounds. The work typically takes 5–6 hours for an experienced and capable driver.
Days are flexible based on preference but must be agreed upon in advance. Required arrival time is 8:30 a.m.
Responsibilities
- Safely load, deliver, pick up, and unload heavy packages.
- Operate the delivery vehicle in compliance with traffic and DOT regulations.
- Use hand trucks, dollies, when required during loading the truck, delivery and pickup.
- Complete vehicle inspections and delivery records.
- Must deliver all packages and pickups in time.
- Provide professional customer service and complete the assigned route safely.
Qualifications
- Must be safety focused, have a strong work ethic and be dependable.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening.
- Heavy package delivery experience required.
- Comfortable handling packages weighing more than 100 pounds.
- Must possess reliable personal transportation to and from work.
Pay: $140.00 per day
