Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to lead our warehouse distribution operations and ensure the seamless flow of goods within our distribution center. This role is vital in managing daily shipping and receiving activities, optimizing warehouse processes, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive warehouse experience, and a comprehensive understanding of logistics and inventory management systems. Duties
- 5–10 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, logistics, or a related field.
- Previous supervisory or management experience within a warehouse
- 5–10 years of forklift operating experience, including heavy equipment with capacities ranging from 10,000 to 20,000 lbs.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, shipping documentation, receiving procedures, and warehouse safety standards.
- Experience working with ERP/WMS systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate inbound and outbound freight, manage competing priorities, and ensure on time shipments.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of training, coaching, and developing team members.
- Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
- A collaborative, hands-on leadership style with a strong commitment to operational excellence.
The compensation range for this position is $70,000–$85,000 annually, commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and overall fit for the role.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
