Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Handle retail sales transactions accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing inquiries promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, food prep stations, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
- Support food handling procedures, including food safety protocols and proper sanitation practices
Requirements
- Prior barista experience or café experience is highly preferred; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail transactions
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and balancing registers
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
