We are currently hiring a PRN PET/CT Technologist for our new Orlando location, with the opportunity for this role to transition into a full-time position as the center continues to expand. This is a great opportunity to help launch a new imaging center while working in a welcoming, patient-centered environment that values your expertise and supports your professional growth.
Preferred availability between 7 AM – 7 PM with flexibility to work 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts as needed.

PET/CT Technologists at Precision Imaging Centers play a critical role in patient care by performing high-quality diagnostic imaging in an outpatient environment that prioritizes comfort, safety, and image clarity.

Perform PET/CT imaging studies following physician protocols
-
Prepare patients for exams and clearly explain procedures
-
Position patients safely and accurately for imaging procedures
-
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast media per protocol and safety guidelines
-
Monitor patients during tracer uptake and scanning procedures
-
Evaluate image quality and repeat imaging when necessary
-
Maintain PET/CT equipment and complete routine quality assurance checks
-
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to maintain efficient workflow
-
Follow radiation safety and compliance standards
-
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology program
-
Valid Florida license in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology, as applicable

ARRT (R) or NMTCB certification
-
ARRT (CT) or PET/CT certification preferred

BLS Certification
-
Experience with venipuncture
-
Prior PET or PET/CT experience preferred

Detail-oriented with strong patient care and communication skills

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Professional, calm demeanor in a fast-paced outpatient environment

Willingness to learn and cross-train in additional modalities

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology program

Valid Florida license in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology, as applicable
-
ARRT (R) or NMTCB certification
-
ARRT (CT) or PET/CT certification preferred
-
BLS Certification
-
Experience with venipuncture
-
Prior PET or PET/CT experience preferred
