SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and operate laser etching equipment to create required markings, lettering, and designs
- Calculate dimensions and select machine settings based on customer specifications
- Prepare tools and workpieces for processing, including cleaning and polishing as needed
- Position tools in designated fixtures and adjust laser head height for proper setup
- Run first-piece samples, make necessary setup adjustments, and obtain approval before production
- Inspect finished etched work for uniformity, depth, and defects using gauges, magnification, and visual/tactile checks
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to follow detailed customer specifications and accurately measure dimensions
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and quality issues
- Comfort working with production equipment, hand measurements, and inspection tools
- Ability to prepare, position, and inspect workpieces in a precision manufacturing setting
