Job Summary
Perform Mold changes, all internal mold PM’s, support department troubleshooting for all equipment. Participate in all qualification events and process parameter control
Duties
Set up, operate, and adjust injection mold machines to produce good quality inserts and/or shoulders. Make running adjustments to attain good quality while maintaining specifications and maximum production. Install molds and perform set-ups and changeovers. Clean, adjust, and maintain molds and mold machines as needed. Inspect the product and detect and identify any defects or problems with the molding process or product. Perform routine and directed maintenance on molds, mold machines and printing presses and assist with major maintenance as required. Assist in ordering repair parts and sending out molds for repair. Maintain all maintenance records for injection molding equipment. Perform TPM on all molds and SPG presses as needed. Provide direction for maintenance efforts in the department. Operate industrial truck as designated. Log production and quality information on required forms and/or AS400 and label and stack finished product as necessary. Perform specified quality checks. Exercise 5S and optimum housekeeping efforts.

Requirements
Prior experience and knowledge on injection molding and press maintenance. The employee will need to have at least 5 years of experience in modification of molding equipment and repair. Previous production experience required in injection molding. Ability to identify and troubleshoot mechanical problems and develop solutions. Knowledge of AS400 helpful. High school diploma or GED. Basic math skills and knowledge of data collection methods. Good communications skills, verbal and written. Willingness to adhere to Company safety rules and requirements. Ability to work well within a team environment.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
