307 Trucking LLC is a small business, that has excellent opportunities for someone with a self- starting focus. This job pays a guaranteed weekly rate. Hours are minimal . This job is not labor intensive but does require good mobility and ability to securely strap various flatbed loads and deliver on a scheduled time. All loading and unloading is done by forklifts, so minimal lifting required. Current locations for this job are in Casper, WY.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to and from specified destinations
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or manual labor
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving and ensure the safety of the cargo
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on the truck to ensure it is in good working condition
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns
Qualifications:
- Complete and pass a pre employment drug and alcohol screen, background screening, and Motor Vehicle Report.
- Possess or have the ability to obtain a Forklift Training Certificate.
- Pass an annual MVR thereafter.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements for the type of truck being operated (Class A)
- Experience operating trucks with manual transmissions
- Ability to load and unload cargo using various methods, including forklifts or manual labor
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus.
- Basic automotive repair skills for minor maintenance tasks on the truck
- Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers
- Ability to follow directions, read maps, and navigate efficiently to different destinations
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules and deadlines
