We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant
North Ogden Animal Hospital is a busy AAHA accredited hospital with fun outgoing staff, five highly respected doctors, and a focus on the special bond that people have with their pets.
We are seeking a veterinary/medical assistant who enjoys working within a close-knit team. Someone who desires to make a difference for good with clients, patients, and coworkers.
As a Veterinary Assistant at NOAH, you will:
- Extend the highest level of tailored service to clients when they visit or call the hospital
- Use your knowledge of veterinary medicine by assisting our doctors in diagnosing and treating pets:performing laboratory tests and monitoring critically ill patients
- Use your written and verbal communication skills to communicate with and educate our pet owners regarding health and care related issues.
- Provide recommendations to pet owners regarding the very best possible care for their pets
- Oversee and maintain medical records for accuracy and completeness
- Work in a team and patient centered environment with the common goal of providing excellent care of both our clients and their pets
- Above all, appreciate the love that owners have for their pets
This position is full time with weekends off.
