Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Baking Manager to lead our bakery team in delivering exceptional baked goods and customer experiences. Duties
- Supervise nightly bakery operations, including food preparation, baking, and packaging to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Lead and motivate a team of bakers and kitchen staff, providing training on baking techniques, food handling, knife skills, and food safety protocols.
- Oversee the preparation of a variety of baked goods such as bread, pastries, cakes, and catering items while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation.
- Manage inventory levels for ingredients and supplies, ensuring proper storage and adherence to food safety regulations.
- Ensure all food production processes comply with health codes, safety standards, and sanitation practices.
- Oversee the packaging process to ensure products are attractively presented and properly labeled for retail or catering purposes.Requirements
- Proven experience in baking, pastry arts, or culinary roles within the food industry; prior management experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation methods, and baking procedures.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation including ovens, mixers, and refrigeration units.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage inventory, schedules, and production deadlines.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation requirements applicable to commercial kitchens.
