Details for Logistics Coordinator position:

$26-36 / Hour

Duties for Logistics Coordinator position:

Schedule and dispatch trucks, dump trailers, and drivers while coordinating pickups, deliveries, and material transfers

Monitor transportation schedules and adjust routes to improve efficiency

Communicate with drivers, vendors, and operations teams regarding loads, timing, and safety requirements

Track shipments, maintain dispatch records, and ensure accurate documentation

Support recycling operations involving scrap, metal, and industrial materials including shredder logistics

Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards

Assist with inventory tracking, load planning, and operational reporting

Resolve transportation and scheduling issues quickly while implementing solutions to enhance productivity

Follow all policies and procedures in place

Completes any other related tasks as needed

Requirements and Desired Skills for Logistics Coordinator position:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in logistics, dispatching, transportation coordination, or recycling operations preferred

Knowledge of dump trailers, trucking operations, and route scheduling

Experience in recycling, scrap metal, or waste management industries strongly preferred

Familiarity with shredders or heavy industrial processing equipment is a plus

Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage shifting priorities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dispatch or logistics software

Additional logistics or transportation training is a plus
