The Easterseals Rehabilitation Center is seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will
- Assist with clients under direct supervision of licensed therapists, including but not limited to accompanying client to/from therapy area, assisting with materials during sessions, and assisting with lifting/transferring of clients.
- Prepare/clean-up treatment areas.
- Clean/disinfect and organize treatment areas, materials, toys and equipment.
- Assist with the preparation of therapy materials/supplies, including but not limited to purchasing items at a store, making copies, laminating items, organizing materials, laundering items, and preparing schedule and communication boards.
- Perform administrative tasks and clerical duties, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Ability to assist clients in activities including kneeling, crouching, reaching and bending
- Ability to lift 40 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to push large adults in wheelchairs
- Ability to carry 40 pounds on an occasional basis
