A leader in the concrete manufacturing industry is looking to add a Project Manager to their team. You will be responsible for leading projects from design through erection and closeout, ensuring quality, safety, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This role coordinates across engineering, drafting, production, hauling, and field erection teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. The Project Manager serves as the primary customer contact and internal team leader for assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all project phases from turnover through final payment and closeout.
Coordinate and communicate with internal teams (engineering, drafting, production, field services) and external partners (general contractors, engineers, and subcontractors).
Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules and budgets.
Review contracts, drawings, and submittals for compliance and constructability.
Manage change orders, billing schedules, and accounts receivable to ensure positive cash flow.
Conduct internal pre-erection and stability plan meetings; ensure all safety requirements are met.
Provide direct supervision and oversight to the Field Superintendent and field operations.
Attend jobsite and design coordination meetings as required.
Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure adherence to company and OSHA safety standards.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of project management experience in the construction industry, ideally with a general contractor or precast/prestressed manufacturer.
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, and change order processes.
Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to influence across departments.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Project or other construction scheduling software.
Willingness to travel periodically to job sites.
Preferred:
Experience with precast concrete manufacturing or erection.
Familiarity with PCI standards, design-assist coordination, and total precast systems.
Proficiency with project management platforms (e.g., Procore, Viewpoint, CMiC).
OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training.
