Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings. This role is essential in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and clients. The Cleaner will perform a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall appearance and sanitation of the facilities.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure high standards of hygiene.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Follow established safety procedures while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning or seasonal maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively.
Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks within designated time frames.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
